Here is a list of our frequently asked questions. If you do not find your question answered, simply contact us and one of our staff members will be happy to assist you. Questions: 1. Will the Operating System files count towards my disk usage quota? 2. Can I host IRC or IRC-related applications in my VPS? 3. Can I host Adult content in my VPS? 4. Can I install and run <insert your application name here> in my VPS? Answers: 1. By default, the Operating System (OS) files will not count towards your disk usage quota. Only files that are modified after the account is provisioned will count. Typically these are OS configuration files and applications that are modified to create an environment specific to your needs. 2. No, we do not allow IRC or IRC-related applications of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, IRC bots, eggdrops, bouncers, or any IRC program. We actively block IRC traffic from our network. 3. No, we do not allow Adult content including pornographic photographs, text, merchandise, or links to pornographic material elsewhere. 4. There are two questions we typically ask when someone inquires about their specific application. First, is this application made to run in on a standard Linux system (or made to run specifically in the Operating System template we offer)? Secondly, does this application require its own kernel modules to be installed? If you answer yes to the first question and no to the second question, then most likely your application will run in our environment. Keep in mind, you have 30 day's to test it out. If you find that it will not work, you can cancel your account and receive your money back (please see the User Agreement for full details). |
